About

My Home
I live and work in a secluded mountain-top studio in the Northwest. From my doorway I can walk into the miracles of nature – indigo-topped mountains, the musical sounds of wildlife, resonating colors and filtered sunlight. I then translate the magic of nature to my artwork, incorporating the colors, symbols, and feelings in my designs and paintings.

Artist and Teacher
A multi-media artist and teacher I choose to paint in the style of the old masters, who used a strong traditional background of drawing and oil painting. When I am creating,. my life takes on a new and exciting dimension and I feel totally alive.  It is my hope that the viewer also feels more alive, more contemplative, more excited and enthused with the adventure of meaning and truth.

Artist’s Statement

“When creating I feel I am at one with the creative process. All other thoughts disappear and I find a wonderful fulfilling contentment. My art represents my own highest truth and discovery of the Creator. I like subjects, lines, forms and colors packed with meaning and symbolism and I respond to the constant call of the beauty of the world around me. I strive for the special essence of that beauty to be recognized in my art.”
