Emotions Can Change your Favorite things!

Vampire’s and zombie horrors reached Sandy Jean’s ears as she was guiding her art students through their creative projects.  She announced to the class this is an Art Class and all we need to know is how to create Art and think of wonderful things.

Feeling she had soothed the rumbles of impending doom and that the talk of monsters had passed, she went happily around her art room until she came to a little six-year-old girl and her basic shape exercise.  With great flourish Sandy Jean drew an example of how a triangle could be made into an ice cream with drips and a cherry on top.  This was an exercise that new students always loved and she was surprised when the little girl hid her eyes and said, “I don’t like that ice cream cone”.

Sandy Jean was confused.  She had never heard that emotional reaction  from any  child she had shown the ice cream exercise.  Wanting to be a  good teacher and also very curious Sandy Jean asked, why don’t you like that ice cream cone?  The student uncovered her eyes and looked at her with tears in her big brown eyes and said because it has FANGS.

Sandy Jean looked at the cone and sure enough the way the drips were did resemble fangs if you had that thought in your mind.  Being quick to sooth and create an enjoyable artistic moment Sandy Jean quickly wiped out the offending drips on the cone and carefully redrew drips that the young artist could associate with her favorite ice cream.  The little girl proudly  looked at the new drawing of the ice cream cone that was made of her favorite flavoring, Peanut Butter Chocolate chip with a red cherry on top and smiled big as she said “I like that ice cream cone and it is fun to eat ice cream.  I am going to ask mom if we can stop tonight to have one because I drew a new one that tastes good.

This story was a perfect example of how words create thoughts and thoughts create feelings and feelings create results.

Tips for attracting good feeling thoughts

Discriminate about what you choose to watch or read.

Become aware of what you are thinking and feeling.

If you are thinking thoughts that make you feel weak shift them to a better feeling thought.

Know that practice makes perfect and perfect feels so good.

We live in a world of wonder and diversity and it is almost impossible to only listen to positive things all the time but with practice we can learn to pivot our thoughts from negative to positive.  It is a law that we attract exactly what we think.  The Law of Attraction teaches that our words create thoughts and thoughts create feeling and feelings create results.  We are word for word thought for thought and feeling for feeling right now in this exacting moment

“Believe in Yourself”

"Belief in Yourself"

“Believe in yourself and there will come a day when others will have no choice but to believe with you.”  Cynthia Kersey

“Sometimes you cannot believe what you see. You have to believe what you feel.” Morrie Schwartz

“True Art Cones from the truth within” Sandra Longmore

Betty was a beautiful little girl who loved to draw and create from her mind.  She had the gift of creative thought.  Her technical skills were not as perfect as the boy who sat on her left or the girl who sat on her right.  When the art teacher would ask her why she choose to paint the horse blue, she would look up at her with a shining smile and say “I painted my horse blue because he loves to run and when he runs he feels like he is flying”.  Betty’s mother would come early to see how Betty was doing in art class and she noticed how the children who sat beside her were drawing more realistic photographic looking pictures and she would make comments like don’t you think you should color your horse brown or white because most horses are that color.  Betty would hang her head and not make any comment.  The next day she came to class very sad.  The shine had gone out of her eyes and she took out her eraser and erased her blue horse and started to draw a brown horse. She made deep sighing noises and laboriously drew a beautiful brown horse.  When she was finished she looked at the painting and said this horse is half dead because he can’t feel anything but now that I know that tomorrow I am going to paint a red horse.  When Betty’s mother saw the red horse she looked shrugged her shoulders and shook her head back and forth.  Betty seeing her mother’s discomfort looked at her with the shine of courage that only comes from experience and said it is better to create a good feeling horse no matter what color you choose to paint.  Don’t worry mother I know you really just want me to feel good and I always feel good when I paint with my feelings.  A shine filled the mother’s eyes as she took her daughters hand and said I love you so my beautiful creative little girl.

Four Tips for Creating From The Heart

  • When you create from the feelings of the heart it will always prove to be true even if others don’t think so.
  • When you rise above the opinions of others and create from the sweet spot within the shine will come back in your eyes.
  • When you experience remember on the other side of the situation is a lesson that will serve you in the future.
  • Find others of like mind whose hearts are open to yours.

No matter who, or what tries to talk you out of your core feelings remember that is where the brilliance that lights up our world comes from and that our world deserves your best feelings. Imagine a life completely original and you as the creative soul you were born to be.  What a wonderful life that would be!

“Black or Red Letter Day”

black_friday_image2

This blog post is about changing the way you think by analizing energy.

“Are you going to black friday?”

“Are you going to black friday?

“Are you going to black friday?

The question vibrated around the young students in my art class. Students using  all the rage words to shed light on this monumental, mighty event.. Black friday had arrived in the minds of the young.

an event of excitement

a groovy thing

 exuberantly worthy

Advertising everywhere wore a enormous profitable smile they had tapped into mother load, the goose that laid the golden eggs, the subconscious of the young.  a new and welcome target market.

Our minds are remarkable and pliable.  We too can made our lives an event, an happening, of what ever we choose it just takes a conscious raising  advertising campaign.

You don’t have to hire an advertising guru.  Put your motivation on high gear with support for change.  Useful ways to find this support is to search the internet for daily motivation.

Try a mastermind group, turn off the news, specially the channel that runs news 24hours a day. Be ruthless and rid yourself of negative stuff and negative friends.    Wait! you say,  I love some of these friends and am married to another. I don’t want to give up on them.   Never fear! You can still do it!!  I did it!  I don’t believe in a disposable society. It is well worth the effort to maintain relationships. Work harder  put yourself in high gear and shift, shift yourself and your relationships  will entrain to your new enlightened way of looking at life and you too can join the exuberance of the young and passionately say to all your relations,Hey! are you going to think great positive thoughts today?  Are you going to learn something new about yourself today? Are you going to love every moment of this day? Lets call it this day the  Red Letter day of life.

Are you going to the red letter day today?

Black Friday was on my mind as I took inspiration and switched it to a Red Letter Day for the self motivated.

I love My Life

I woke up this morning saying “10 in 10 out”.  To me that means that I am feeling connected with everything good and I am feeling wonderful.  Say “yes” if you love that!

I am in day 3 of being certified as a Law Of Attraction Trainer, facilitator and loving the experience.  Loving the people I am meeting. Loving Michael Losier. Loving the materials he is presenting.

I am excited about how I am going to use this material in my live and how I am going to use it to empower others through my coaching, speaking, writing, and day by day living.

Sometimes you forget that nature is far more interesting than anything else humans can dream up. “A chance encounter and shared moment with one of natures greatest and most fleeting phenomena.”

On my way to a show in the late 90′s I was feeling down and wanted inspiration.  The show was in California and I had all my inventory packed in our Van as we rolled along.  The inventory was Hand Painted Apparel Garments.  My line of clothes was called “Sandra’s Fine Art Apparel.  The reason I was feeling down was that I was tired of doing shows and working long hours on my beautiful line of clothing.  I knew there was a better way and asked for a sign.  As was my practice I always knew I could get a sign of inspiration if I just sat in a quiet and opened my awareness.  On that day I did just that and looked up into the clouds and I saw a beautiful flight of birds swooping, soring, in absolute freedom and I knew that if I could connect with that that was behind these birds all would be well.

Today is 11/11/11.  I think the way the numbers and the meanings behind them are like a beautiful flight of birds.

Heart opening in joy of another’s accomplishments

Vision Board for Exercise Routine

Vision Board Exercise Goals

I created this vision board so that I would add exercise to my life.  My intent was that I would start thinking or rather non-thinking about exercise.  I wanted exercise to be as regular as brushing my teeth.

I am happy today to say this is a reality.  I am not just exercising I am training with a great trainer called Karen Bell of KTBell fitness and training.  Her classes are at 5:30 am and I am there bright with excitment and regularity.

“Vision Board – Passport to possibilities”

Vision Board "Passport to Possibility"

I created this Vision Board from an exercise I learned about while getting my certification from the Vision Board Institute.  It was a eye opener for me and one I can see pass before my consciousness as I feel the manifestation of the images on this board.

Transformational Author Writing Contest

As part of the Transformational Author Writing Contest we all get to be in the Quote book.  How fun and great is that!  A contest that makes everyone a winner!! My Quote: “Your life is as good as you want it to be.  Today in this very moment you have everything you need to be fully happy, fully alive, and fully fulfilled. Through new perspectives and better feeling thought the Earth will expand in beauty and all who come in contact with you will notice the difference.  They might say, “what’s up with you!  You glow, you laugh a lot! And behind your eyes is something special.”

Good Art – Bad Art

If I try to get something like a good feeling about how I feel about my art work and at the same time feel I cannot draw a straight line my art work will never feel satisfying no matter how hard I grind away at it.  If I become a deliberate attractor however, my art work would start to look good to me because I would start by connecting to my higher self, the part of me that is clear, and strong and best of all knows that good art is inside me just waiting to create lines that are curved, angled, sharp, and soft.  The best line ever drawn on a canvas is just waiting for my knowing to catch up with it.

The Creative Life

The Creative Life

I am adding to this post today two years after the original post.  I ask myself this question as I looked at my old post,

Is it really that simple to find answer to all things by looking within ourselves ?

We came into the world as a container and have filled ourselves with the diversity of experience of all kinds and a extraordinary variety of emotions like the following gathered from the Abraham-Hicks emotional scale.

“joy, knowledge, empowerment, freedom, love, appreciation, passion, enthusiasm, eagerness, happiness, positive expectation, belief, optimism, hopefulness, contentment, boredom, pessimism, frustration, irritation, impatience, overwhelment, disappointment, doubt, worry, blame, discouragement, anger, revenge, hatred, rage, jealousy, insecurity, guilt, unworthiness, fear, grief, depression, despair, powerlessness.”

Now that our cup is filled with these emotional experiences

We can take a moment to  reflect on what we have learned

We can stop and smell the aroma the intoxicating  brew that all  life experiences mixed together as they blend with the air surronding us.

We can relax and sit back in our chair  and take in the surrounding view as we drink out of the cup of life’s challenges and wisdom.

We can  take life’s brew into our bodies sip by delicious sip tasting the  existance we alone created by the choices we made.

Since two years has past many things have changed I am not the same person I feel more joyful, excited and energetically engaged with life on a moment to moment basis.

Helpful steps to experiencing the emotions you want to experience

Remember you never step in the river in the same place it is always moving and evolving

Put you boat in the river with the idea that you will find a way to go with the current

Coaching helps you reset emotions that no longer serve you.

Remember you were put on the earth to thrive and find ways to feel good that will benefit you and others.

And yes,  it really is that simple to find  answer to all things by looking within ourselves.

“Image a Future”

We are often kept from doing and getting what we want because of our inside mental thoughts. The pain we feel when we lose something we’re attached to, or when we confront something we’d rather avoid is a direct result of not knowing everything we could or should know about our own mind. We’re caught by our own ignorance and need a guide on our side to guide us through processes of thought and perception that can help us break free. The Coaching experience is designed for creating a way out of our constant mental chatter that keeps us from getting what we really want.
We all have an inner guidance system and a form of knowing within but it can easily get clouded by obstacles and challenges.

Why live life half way?

Why not commit to being fully alive?

Can you image a world where coaching and coaching skills were a natural part of human relationship? This is a beautiful vision a kind of paradise on Earth. Children would be taught and parented by men and women who have found fulfillment in their own lives. They would realize that the current moment is one where they can feel great and don’t have to wait until they are rich, or own that great car to be happy but happiness is available always spontaneously in the moment.

Image a world where everyone knew their core values and life purpose and aligned with them on a daily basis with fun, excitement and passion.

Image a world where the earth news was one of how thoughts being projected today brought people into miracle thinking and indescribable projects and inventions were created.

Image a world where wellbeing was felt and experienced by all.

Image a world, where we all knew that our planet is in perfect balance and positioned in a much greater Universe. Where we could share with each other glimpses into the greater universe of wellbeing and creativity.

Image a world, where we felt assured that our planet is resourceful and continues to regenerate and recycle and we are always safe.

As we in the coaching arena work on our own thoughts and re purpose them into those of positive expectation of ourselves and those of our clients we find new alignment with new thoughts of worthiness and well-being. This is where the true power of living a dynamic life is. This is where good-feeling thoughts live. This is where resistance of all kind is brought forward and stops holding us back. This is where all kinds of good-feelings, ideas, and possibilities start to flow. This is where both the coach and client smile in amusement as they discover that this world was always within their reach and now because we have laid struggle aside and picked up a life of ease it comes gushing out in abundance. New plans are explored with balance and self-mastery as the client begins a life of freedom and fulfillment.

False Evidence Appearing Real

Snow began to pile up on the skylights and the room took on an eerie ambiance as our students drew on their huge pads.  The pads are 22×24.  The oversized pads encourage students to think big and use their whole arm when creating.

I was deeply focused with the process of a seven-year-old boy as he created an eye on a wolf he had drawn in pastel.  The wolf head was almost as big as he was tall and we  were both nose to nose with his creative endeavors.

His focus was palpable as he stared at the white oval of the eye before him.    I explained that we would go step by step in creating the eye.

First put the golden yellow in for the iris and surround it with your black charcoal pencil and then darken the pupil in the upper part of the eye.

Suddenly  he leaped back ten feet YELLING, “It’s too real!  It’s scaring me!!!

shocking the class and me!!!

I assured him once we rounded the eye more and put the sparkle of white in the iris he would look less real and scary.  He did just that standing very close to me while he performed the next part of creating the eye.  He then stood back with a sigh of relief and huge smile and today we laugh together about this all too real creative process.

This is an example of fear appearing real.  How many times have we created or thought about starting something just to jump back saying it is too scary.  I am too scared to go through with this action.  In actuality we may be just around the corner or knocking at the door of the largest opportunity of our lives.

If a seven year old can face his fears and finish creating something that is scary can we?  Or can we take inspiration from this story next time we are frightened by the prospect of creating something new or finishing something we started.  Remember before you started there was nothing but a blank piece of paper and now you have an opportunity to bring something great and mighty into the world.

If you are feeling scared remember FEAR really is your creation of association of ideas and is False Evidence Appearing Real.

F false

E evidence

A appearing

R real

Personal Evolution and Instincts for Happy Thoughts

I was driving to Spokane for my granddaughter first birthday and we passed hundreds of areas of trees planted for the purpose of providing pulp for making paper. I was struck by the awe-inspiring patterns of parallel rows of trees as they flashed mesmerizingly before my eyes. All the trees stood strong and straight as soldiers on parade. Each tree planted with precision thriving out of the fertile soil.

The trees were arranged in order of the harvesting needs for their purpose here on earth. First were full-grown trees next rows of trees half as tall as the first bunch and next newly planted trees. Each tree grew out of the same soil and was in different stages of growth.

This made me think about growth in general. The soil provides the same for all and we always have a choice of how to grow and through awareness of this process we can be presented with delight and wonder

Our instincts tell us to do what makes us happy: Kaiya, one year old, is changing daily with new discoveries of her world. She laughs when she touches her toes. She laughs when she stands. She giggles as she slides her food off the tray to her happy dog.

Our instincts tell us to do what makes us happy: My daughter, Niccole, 44, is starting something new. She is going to cooking school. She doesn’t know how this education will fit into her future but feels she is honoring her instincts and can see that it will add value to her ever unfolding style of living.

Our instincts tell us to do what makes us happy. I am like the last role of trees in the forest management systems. Enjoying the diversity of life and anticipating the next higher more evolved step. Every day is a gift and I get to unwrap this wondrous gift one moment at a time.

We were all born knowing how to grow and thrive in this fertile soil like the trees and all of nature. We all possess a sense of wanting to feel good and happy. The methods and way we grow is up to us but they are fully present in each person.

How did your instincts tell you how to be happy today??
