“Grateful for Eyes”

I have just been relieved of a stress. I went to have a routine check of my eyes and the optometrist said I have glaucoma and possible eye damage. He scared me to death. and then of course I couldn’t get an appointment with Ophthalmology for three weeks. And today I had that appointment and everything is well within range and if I did come down with glaucoma at a later date it is easily treated. The optometrist must of had his reasons to explain what he thought was a condition and I am extremely grateful to be ok now but one should always remember words can be delivered in many ways and it is always better to be positive with people. Sitting in my car looking at the Arched Bridge over the Willamette River I completed this drawing feeling very grateful for my eyes.
