Today I went on a Paint out at Johnson Creek. This is a collage of the day. A sunny and beautiful day to be painting with a friend. Toni was on her first paint out and did a watercolor. She was fantastic and took to the atmosphere like a duck takes to water. We had visits from a Blue Heron who is a regular to Johnson Creek. I will be doing more studio on my painting and am very pleased with the beginning color notes.
The sponsored event is about raising watershed awareness. We are the luckiest people in the world to have dedicated people who care enough to volunteer there time and put together this event. There will be a show in Sellwood First Friday showing all the art work. Follow the Johnson Creek Day’s link to get more information or call 503-652-7477.
“Impressionist color is not a singular painting style but is, in fact, being used in all contemporary painting today.”
