“The Franciscan Villa in Bridal Veil, OR”

Daily for the past few days has been painting on a painting I did last fall at the Franciscan Villa in Bridal Veil, Oregon. You have to have an invitation to go here and Kathy Allegri of the Portland Plein Air Group had arranged one on a beautiful fall day. I will post the painting after it is finished.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist are now in charge of this beautiful villa in Bridalvail. The Villa is a restored Villa surrounded by the beauty of forest and gardens in the Columbia Gorge. Working on this painting now as it is snowing outside brought back the happy memories of being there last fall in its peaceful setting. Being a plein air painter is the greatest thing in the world and so is painting from my paintings done out in nature like this one.

I am a professional artist and teacher of Art. Degrees: B.S. in Art and Psychology, Associate Degree in General Studies, Advanced course work in the Arts and Computer Science. Featured in Books and Magazines.
